Wise Vs Fool

--

Here is true story

Once upon a time, two people were crossing a dense forest together. One was a very intelligent, wise man while the other was a certified idiot, a fool if you may.

Now you know that everything looks the same in woods, especially with low light and therefore wise man being wise made sure to leave some definite marks all through the way so that if he gets lost in the forest he can return back safely.

Fool being a fool didn’t care one bit.

As Murphy’s law would have it, they lost the way and it started getting really dark.

Wise man did a thorough analyses and concluded that its getting dark, going forward makes no sense and decided to go back following the marks and signs to save his life.

Fool kept going forward without thinking much.

Within 15 minutes fool was out of the forest & reached a village where he met a hospitable local who fed him and gave him place to stay the night over.

Wise man was going back without much problems, the signs and marks were very helpful, but at one of those marks, a hungry tiger was waiting.

End of story!

Now can you tell who was the fool & who was the wise one?

How many traders do you know that fit this bill ?.

Do you decide the foolishness based on outcome or process?
